Suprise!

My water broke on Tuesday when I got home from work! Ryan was at a youth event, and I decided to finish making dinner, while I waited for him to come home. I decided to forgo dinner; since I made tune noodle casserole and well.. I hear labor makes people throw up.

Here I am 6 hours into labor. We were admitted at 8pm, and they induced me at 10pm.

We were in for a long night, it was shortly after this picture was taken that I tapped out and asked for an epidural. Only to find later that the pain similar to what I think your legs being hacked off with a butter knife would be; was due to pinched nerves, not your typical contractions! He was wedged in a little off target! and if your wondering.. the epidural didn't work for this kind of pain. Ryan was the BEST coach, and we had only 3 shift changes... all the staff (I'm pretty sure I met everyone) was awesome. Here I am after 21 hours. I got what I came for!

Obadiah Benjamin Fahle was born 5/8/13 at 7:09pm. He was 6 lbs annd 14 ounces, 21 inches long.
