StitchFix - #1

So, I did this thing. I signed up for StitchFix. Its a personal style service. You fill out a little about your style, your size, what type of items you'd like in your 'Fix.' And a personal stylist sends you 5 items for you to try on, and you have 3 days to send back free of charge anything you don't want. There are some details; like a $20 styling fee you would be out if you didn't buy anything from the box, but it was a risk I was willing to take. And the prices aren't your Target or Old Navy variety.

I'm typically a thrift store; garage sale; hand me down type of gal. However I also like to buy things. I've also lost about 20 pounds. So, this has left me with a wide array of ill fitting, not fitting, not for my body type - closet of clothes. I also don't give my self the time of day - So shopping is low on the list and lets be honest I'm terrible at picking out clothes for my self.

You know its bad when you wear a tight - very form fitting costume to a party and no one recognizes you cause they didn't know you had a figure. So. I find my self here.

I got my first shipment after Christmas, so I used some of my Christmas monies to buy some of what I got. I've never had a complete stranger pick out clothes for me, but I'm telling you - at least this time the skinny jeans were a hit. - so comfy, and they fit - nicely! I couldn't of done that if I went to the store my self. I promise you.

Also the hooded sweatshirt - I've worn this about every other day. Also, the plaid shirt- wearing it right now. At first I thought it to large, but when I washed it, it fits great, and is soft. I'm looking forward to my next Fix; my intention here is to get some clothes that fit my new body - and to skip the stores and piles of cheap clothes that don't fit and I don't need. So though I may be paying more for fewer pieces, these are investment pieces that I won't be putting in a trash bag to donate sometime in the next year (I do this alot).

Interested? Does this sound like you? Try it out - https://www.stitchfix.com/referral/4467169

P.S. I'll take better pictures next time. maybe.
