You know those friends where it doesn't matter how much time passes? This past weekend our friends Brian and Amanda flew in from Washington state to visit. A long time ago.. like 6 1/2 years ago, we met in Virginia where Brian and Ryan worked together in HMX-1. We haven't seen them since we flew out to Washington 2 years ago! We went bowling, celebrated Brian's birthday at Shadowbox, had lunch with my parents, shot some guns, ate a gigantic burger at Thurman's, introduced them to roosters wings, shot some more guns :) Well now they are gone, and its back to reality for the both of us.
Hope to see them again before 2014!
