what is up

We will most likely be putting our house on the market soon, and we found a house we like. Its all depending really on whether we are matched to adopt a child in the near future. Yesterday we had a meeting to give more answers regarding or intent, willingness, capabilities etc. We should hear within a week or so.

There is something very real and scary about this. Talking about caring for a child you've never met before - is insane. I saw this quote online from a foster parent; and thought I would share.

"One of the hardest things about being a foster/adoptive parent is you have to earn back trust that you never violated. You have to work to redeem hard places that you never created. You have to heal wounds that you never inflicted."
