We received our first foster placement call earlier this week. Obviously not great timing (leaving Friday and all). Plus we aren't really aiming to foster. Sad......think about a child; under 4 sitting in a government office playing with toys while a worker calls and tries to find them a safe bed to sleep in.
Praying for a bed to be open; and the parents to get their act together.
On another note; we heard back from the adoption agency we applied too; and they actually do require us to take some infant classes and attend some meetings at their office in Cleveland. That information was obviously NOT presented to us to begin with...Guess we will sit on that option awhile; maybe something will pan out soon through the state.
