We have our homestudy being review currently; I was told gratefully by a caseworker that once he forwards our homestudy to the childs caseworker they have 21 days to notify us either way. Great news since we are pretty much in the dark the majority of the time, at least I know to hold my horses.
Then we had our homestudy sent recently for a different agency, and I received an email that simply read "I received your homestudy" .........................and so it leaves me hanging... "and and AND?!?" I shout in my head!
Since I too work in a government office where I am inundated with mounds of paperwork daily and with relentless status calls, emails and letter requests by patients that I barely find the time to actually process their requests. I attempt to find restraint to wait a week or two before checking in.
