Hold the phone

Last Monday, I was cooking dinner when I got a 'blocked' call. I usually don't answer these, but did. It was his caseworker. She said " I have something for you" then hands the phone to 'the boy'. Imagine my shock! I stumbled through a few softball questions about his day, spring break, our photo book... then passed the phone to Ryan. After the call was over, we were in shock. Did that just happen? WOW. We are finally going up Friday to meet him and go bowling...then we will stay over night at a hotel and hang out again on Saturday. We are so very excited!

On another note; I've been thinking about what our 'house rules' will be... at this point, Obi might think his name is 'NO' or 'Hey!' In our new house ' no shoes' seems to be a good rule.. and 'be polite/respectful.' What are your house rules?? What do you WISH were your house rules?  Leave me some comments!
